| As the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program is close to completion a post completion strategy has been developed to determine how effective the program has been in delivering its objectives. This strategy, which includes a survey, will also assist the NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) in delivering future major capital works by learning from the delivery of such a large program. | Transition of NBJP Act Authorisations to the Planning Act

| A new provision has been inserted into the EPA Act to provide an ongoing planning approval framework for projects Authorised or exempted under the Nation Building and Jobs Plan (NBJP) (State Infrastructure Delivery) Amendment (Planning Legislation) Act. The NBJP Act Regulation 2011, on 3 March 2011, inserted a new Part 25 (clauses 137 – 141) into Schedule 6 of the EPA Act. This is a normal process for projects and programs, which have had special planning provisions and will end at some point. Read more |
