Kempsey High School’s new language learning centre, delivered through the Science and Language Centres for 21st Century Secondary Schools (SLC) program, not only benefits its own students, but also the students of 17 other schools in the Macleay Valley.  Read more

Premier's Award for public sector project delivery
The Premier’s Public Sector Awards were established in 1997 to formally recognise and reward outstanding performance and achievement by the New South Wales public sector.  Read more
State of the Art Social Housing for Airds
Housing Minister Frank Terenzini has welcomed new tenants at thirty new ultra modern social housing units in Airds. All homes are built for long-term durability, with robust construction and come with a minimum six star Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) energy rating reducing overall energy costs in the long term.  Read more
Master Builders Australia elects new national president
The Board of Master Builders Australia on 19 November 2010 elected Mr Peter Kennedy as its National President for 2011. Mr Kennedy is Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hansen Yuncken. Read more
Nation Building funded Social Housing Receives Design Quality Award
Housing NSW continues to receive recognition for its outstanding contribution to the community, this time receiving a commendation from the City of Canterbury 2010 Design Quality Awards. Read more
Undercliffe Public School P&C commemorates BER program
Building the Education Revolution program will be long remembered at Undercliffe public school through the placement of a commemorative wall on the outside of the new hall and COLA. Principal Helen Missiris said the wall, which is the initiative of the P&C committee, is the school’s appreciation of receiving “a great new facility”. Read more
New community housing on Victoria Road
Hunters Hill Mayor, Susan Hoopmann, recently joined tenants in an official welcome at new community housing on Victoria Road. The complex of 23 units, all designed to suit disabled and senior residents, is managed by community housing provider Affordable Community Housing.  Read more
Taskforce conducting planning audits
With most of the planning authorisations in the final stages, construction of nearly all projects commenced and over 50% of all projects complete, the Taskforce is now ramping up the auditing for compliance on NSW Nation Building projects authorised by the Infrastructure Coordinator General.  Read more
