Housing Stage One expenditure reaches $200m
As of this week, there are 762 social housing dwellings under construction as part of the Stage One approvals given by the Commonwealth for just on 900 dwellings. This equates to 102 projects and expenditure of nearly $200m in various regions across the State. Read more

Australian Employment Covenant
NSW already has a range of policies and strategies in place to promote Indigenous employment and now the Australian Government is providing additional support through the Australian Employment Covenant. The Department of Education and Training has written to school Principals to confirm that their Managing Contractor is the first point of contact for Principals regarding any aspect of Primary Schools for the 21st Century projects and to encourage them to be in close contact and avail themselves of their skill and experience in delivering construction projects.
